Constitution Reading: Constitution Day (UW)

Annual reading of the U.S. Constitution, sponsored by the University of Washington Libraries

Constitution Day at the University of Washington

History of Constitution Day

In May 2005, the U.S. Department of Education announced a new requirement that all educational institutions receiving federal funding observe Constitution Day (September 17). At the University of Washington, we do this in two ways: by the establishment of a web page portal (Constitution Day at the University of Washington), and through the annual reading of the Constitution.
