Seattle Theatre Archives: Oral Histories

A guide to selected primary materials relating to theatrical companies and the history of theatre in Seattle available in Special Collections.

Oral Histories

Alice B. program

Special Collections also holds oral history interviews with notable persons involved in Seattle theatre. These oral histories may be represented by actual recordings and/or written transcripts. Many of the individual interviews were conducted as a part of a larger project. Please note that those oral history interviews which are not digitized and available online must be requested from Special Collections. Due to the fragility of archival tape recordings, potential users may be required to arrange for transfer to digital format before the material can be accessed. Please contact Special Collections for further information.
