Collection Guidelines: Information Science: Departmental Focus

These are the guidelines by which materials are purchased for the Library and Information Science collection of the UW Libraries (Seattle Campus).

Programs & Degrees

The Information School offers the Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Science in Information Management (MSIM), and Doctorate in Information Science. It also offers an undergraduate program of study leading to a Bachelor of Science in Informatics, as well as a minor in Informatics.

As of 2018, the iSchool will focus on four areas of strategic visibility:
