What's in the Guide

This guide provides access to a selection of archival and other materials pertaining to Seattle dance held by the University of Washington Libraries' Special Collections. 

Collections listed in the guide consist of records of dance companies, individuals, and organizations (including dance schools). In addition to textual records, formats include photographs, scrapbooks, and programs. 

Special Collections

Special Collections is the UW Libraries' major resource for rare and archival materials covering a broad range of topics, formats, and periods. The Special Collections reading room, located on the lower level of Allen Library South, is open to the public on weekdays

Major collecting areas are overseen by curators/archivists.
