Newspapers (Full-text of local & worldwide)

Google 'em!

Most living artists post a Resume or CV (Curriculum Vitae) online.

It contains invaluable information such as:

  • Gallery exhibitions
  • Installation Locations
  • Education
  • Publications
  • Media Coverage (tv interviews, journal articles etc.)

** You could spend weeks in the other resources on this page trying to piece together what is readily chronicled in a resume!! **

Use the resume info to direct your next resource choice.

Museums & Galleries

Got a Local?

Look into local museums and well-established galleries. Most museums and some galleries maintain "clipfiles" on artists they have featured - including newspaper clippings, interviews and the research documents they found to curate the work.

A best bet for 'scholarly' coverage of a living artist  ...But be prepared to *order* and wait  a few days for the articles.
