Find historic newspaper holdings by searching a place name and/or subject combined with the word 'newspaper.' For example: "orcas island newspaper" returns a result for The Orcas Islander, with microfilm available beginning in 1940.
Check the current Newspaper Subscriptions list to see if the UW Libraries receives a current, paper edition of the newspaper, locate microfilm backfiles, and connect to current web sites.
You may request a newspaper in microfilm via the Interlibrary Loan book request form. Be sure to include in the notes section the particular dates of the reel that you need.
