Library Instruction: Swedish Medical Center

Hello! Julie will be supporting your assignments in the following courses:

Fall quarter:

  • B NURS 501: Contemporary Issues in Advanced Nursing Practice. Usually in these online and face-to-face library sessions we practice locating the full text of scholarly nursing theory articles in the CINAHL and PubMed databases, and set-up your UW Libraries Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery account. Chat about Citation Tools.
  • B NURS 525: Healthcare Systems Leadership for Advanced Roles. In this course we work with various leadership and education focused databases and web sites.

Winter and Spring quarter:

  • B NURS 520/522: Translational Research I & II. In these courses we locate various types of articles and research instruments in databases, discuss comprehensive search strategies, impact factors, and citation tools.
