INS Annual Reports

Prior to the creation of the publication Statistical Yearbook of the Imigration and Nationalization Service in 1978, immigration statistics from the INS were published in the department's annual report.  This report has been known by different names over time.  The following titles can be found in the UW libraries:

Congressional Research Service Reports

The Congressional Research Service (CRS), a division of the Library of Congress, writes most of the briefs for Congress, providing high-quality research and analysis. The reports created by CRS staff are a rich source of information, succinct and well-researched.   The following sources have collections of CRS reports related to immigration or are easily searchable.
