Architecture: Searching for E-Journals

Subject Guide for Architecture and Architectural History Students.

Getting Started

There are 2 approaches that you can use to find articles in professional journals:

1. Use the "Articles" tab to find an ARTICLE DATABASE to search a large number of journals all at once.

2. Use the "E-Journals" tab to go a SINGLE PUBLICATION directly and search for articles within that publication.

Search or browse journal titles held at UW. Can't find it? Request it through Interlibrary Loan.

To browse a list of E-Journals in Architecture available via the UW Libraries go to the UW Libraries Catalog Advanced Search
On the first line type in "Architecture"
Select the "Journals" from the Materials Type dialog box to the right
To find a specific e-journal:
- On the second line add the name of the journal you are seeking, e.g., "Architectural Record"
