New quick and easy import using Capture bookmarklet in your browser.
Log in to your EndNote Basic account in a separate tab in the same browser. Click on the Capture bookmark to automatically import the citation information in your browser (such as from a PubMed search results page) directly into your EndNote Basic account.
In PubMed, download a file of the desired records.
In EndNote Basic, import the saved PubMed file (citations.nbib).
Look for a direct export option to move citations automatically into EndNote Basic.
If no such option is offered, you can always create a text file of the citations then import the text file into EndNote Web. Look for format options such as:
generic bibliographic management software
Usually, the import filter to use is the one that describes the combination of database and database provider. For example, PsycInfo (OVID) or PsycInfo (Ebsco).
However, there are specific file extensions that denote which filter to use

If none of these work, double-check that the text file was saved in the correct format.
