Add my name to the long list of people who were totally captivated by Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan Novels. They get better as the series progresses. – Holley Cassell, Associate Philanthropy Officer (April 2017)

Fantasy and Science Fiction

The King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfus

The Name of the Wind and The Wise Man's Fear, the first two books in what supposedly is going to turn into a trilogy, are artfully written and, though some readers complain of a slow start, they are well worth your time. With each re-reading I find a new subtle detail, a clue to the bigger story that’s unfurling. These books fall into the fantasy genre and will appeal to those that have enjoyed Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter series. —Pearl McCrea, Library Technician (April 2017)
