This Election guide brings you voting and election information on how to register, campaign issues, and voting rights.

REGISTER & VOTE: Washington State

Washington State residents can register to vote by using one of the methods below. You must be an American citizen, a legal resident of the State, and age 18 by Nov. 7, 2023. You will need proof of identity: Washington driver license or ID number.

  • Register to Vote Online. You will need your proof of identity.
  • Register to Vote by Mail. Print off your registration form, fill it out, and mail to the designated address. Use this method if you do not have a Washington driver license or ID number.
  • Register to Vote In Person: Visit your  County Election Departments. Use this method if you do not have a Washington driver license or ID number.

The deadline to register to vote online or by mail in November's general election is October 30, 2023.The deadline for in-person registration is Election Day, November 7, 2023.
