This website documents and celebrates the ways in various ways in which the UW Ethnomusicology program engages with the local Seattle community and the larger network of musicians around the world. Through the Visiting Artists Program, beginning in the 1960's, interdisciplinary collaborations with Seattle organizations, and Community Artist in Residency programs, the UW Ethnomusicology department remains committed to supporting and building community.
