Introduction

Campus Meaningful Reads is a UW Tacoma Library program modeled after an annual faculty recognition event through the University of Arkansas Libraries which seeks to reflect the diverse and rich set of experiences that illustrate how reading inspires introspection, a desire to pursue new interests, or even new directions in life.

To honor UW Tacoma's commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, the Library invites students, staff, and faculty to participate by sharing their perspectives. In this way, we can build campus community and strengthen our campus identity through the texts that are contributed. Inviting everyone to share texts that connect to their achievement and joy in higher education can serve to highlight intersecting identities and foster inclusion.  We value your voice and experiences, and we want to hear about what inspires and motivates you!

Campus Meaningful Reads will run every quarter with submissions being posted throughout.
