Chinese Studies: Temporarily Available E-Books & Databases (2020)

A research guide for Chinese study materials at the University of Washington Libraries

How to Access Temporarily Available Licensed Resources

To access almost all of the resources listed below, you will need to use a Husky OnNet VPN connection. Since they are not hosted by UW, you must click "Change server" and select "All internet traffic" when connecting to Husky OnNet. Click on these links for guidance on how to install and configure Husky OnNet.

Availability Updates

Unless otherwise noted, all temporary databases should be available until September 30, 2020. We thank vendors for providing emergency access during this time of need, and especially for extending the period of access.

NOTE: Access to many databases was originally scheduled to expire on June 30. Vendors have agreed to extend access, but this may take some days to take effect; some databases may temporarily display messages indicating that access has expired.
