Western Waters Digital Library
Provides free public access to a wide range of significant resources on water in the Western States. Includes links to a wide variety of over 30 repositories and special collections focusing on water. The academic Institutions contributing to this digital library are located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Washington. Materials range from numerous state document series, various federal project records, historical photographs and maps, academic research projects, Native American water rights, comprehensive histories and assessments of specific rivers and other bodies of both inland and coastal waters, and the beautifully rendered sketches of John Muir.
