Bullfrog Films is the oldest and largest publisher of videos and films about the environment in the United States. Bullfrog's mission statement is to bring together programs that point the way to a new paradigm for living happily, healthily and sustainably.

California Newsreel

California Newsreel produces and distributes social justice films that are intended to engage audiences. Founded in 1968, Newsreel is the oldest non-profit, social issue documentary film center in the country and was the first to marry media production and contemporary social movements. UW Libraries licenses and owns many California Newsreeel streaming titles, some shown as links on this page and others on the Alexander Street Press Black Studies in Video page.

Kino Lorber

Kino Lorber was founded in 2009 by industry leaders Donald Krim and Richard Lorber, combining the resources, staffs and libraries of Lorber Films, Alive Mind and Kino International to create a new leader in independent film distribution. Through its varied group of labels, Kino Lorber offers the best in contemporary, classic and documentary films that aim to engage, provoke, stimulate, and entertain today's audiences.

Zeitgeist Films is a New York-based distribution company founded in 1988 which acquires and distributes the finest independent films from the U.S. and around the world.
