CSE citation style was created by the Council of Science Editors. It is commonly used for citing sources in the Sciences, which includes: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Mathematics, Nursing, Physics, and etc.
At UW Tacoma, most science and math courses use a modified CSE Name-Year style.
