Today you will work to locate sources on a specific topic for your Literature Review assignment.

2. Review the assignments:
- Literature Matrix Assignment:
- Each week every student needs to add two studies or research papers to your matrix.
- You will find a various types of articles including both qualitative and quantitative to describe in your matrices.
- "You should aim for at least 10 studies to include in your final literature matrix which is due by week 10. You should also aim for finding various types of studies that we have covered in your readings and weekly PowerPoint slides, for example, qualitative (will be covered in Week 5) descriptive, cross-sectional, cohort, longitudinal, randomized clinical trials, reviews and/or systematic reviews. Aim for at least two studies a week starting with Week 3, and start building the matrix, and by week 8 you will have at least 10--you can find more studies, but do not go beyond 15 studies."
- This assignment is/will be located in Canvas in the Modules: Week 10 area.
- Group Inquiry Project and Presentation Information:
- Each group needs to find 5 to 10 peer-reviewed articles.

- (Optional) Julie will search for medication errors and long term care (or something else) and discuss as a large group the search results. Look at the article title, date, journal name, publication type, abstracts, and subjects to see if relevant to topic. We will skim to try to locate more search words to revise your search to get different results in CINAHL.

- Publication Type – Limit results to source types such as Clinical Trial, Evidence-Based Care Sheet, Interview, Meta Analysis, Meta Synthesis, Nursing Diagnoses, Nursing Interventions, Randomized Controlled Trial, Research, Review, Statistics, Systematic Review, or Tables/Charts. Scroll down in the box to see the full list of types. You can select multiple items either by holding down the control key (Ctrl) on a PC, or the Apple button on a Mac computer.
