Zotero and Other Citation Management Tools

Where Do I Turn For Help?

If you run into trouble or just need additional help navigating available features, Zotero's website has a lot of great information and step-by-step instructions on how to complete various tasks. The site also hosts user forums where people can write in and get their most burning Zotero-related questions answered by other users. You can search the various discussions to see if someone else has already answered your question. Remember that you can also set up an appointment with the UW Research Commons if you want to meet with someone to discuss problems you're encountering or have questions.

Librarian Jason Puckett wrote the book on Zotero - literally! Now in its second edition, Zotero: A Guide for Librarians, Researchers and Educators is an in-depth resource which provides explanations of Zotero's features and step-by-step instruction on how to use them. Note that it is available as an eBook if you would like to access online.
