For your presentation, you will choose one of the major tech companies to find basic information as well as research the deeper implications of their business practices. The following are some guiding questions from your assignment. 

• Is the company public or private? 

• What does it own? 

• How much is it worth? 

• Who owns it? 

• How much money does it make in a year? [If you can’t find this out, why not?]

• How does it make its money? Be specific with this one.

• What are the implications (that is, why does it matter?) for how the company makes its money? Any controversies or special consequences? [Here we are thinking about big issues like privacy, democracy, consumer protection, etc.]

• Any other information you come across in your research (examples, etc.) that you think are important.
