Reserving Study Rooms

Guide for law students about how to reserve a group study room in the law library.

  1. Law students only. Other UW students can reserve rooms in other libraries here.
  2. Reservations may be made a maximum of 2 weeks in advance
  3. 2 hour limit to reservations: you can only reserve a room for two hours at a time. You have to wait 1 hour before reserving the same room again. If you're in a group and the group wants the room for more than an hour, someone else can reserve the same room for another two hours using their NetID.
  4. Individuals cannot have more than one space reserved at a time.
  5. Individuals can make no more than 4 reservations per day
  6. If a reservation isn't claimed within 15 minutes, the room may be used by another group
  7. Priority for groups: Even if you've reserved the room, if you're alone in the room and a group walks up, the group has priority and you will have to move elsewhere.
  8. Reservations can be made at all hours, even when the library is not open to the public.
  9. Please do not leave your belongings unattended.
  10. Questions or issues with these policies--talk to the Information Desk.
