Marjorie D. RombauerMarjorie Rombauer was the first tenured female teaching faculty at the University of Washington School of Law, from 1960 to 1993. She was a noted author of multiple works on legal research and analysis and creator of the Rombauer Method, a strategy for legal research.

Professor Rombauer served on the Washington Law Revision as a member (1988-95) and as chair (1990-95). She received many awards for her contributions to UW Law and other organizations including the Association of American Law Schools, National Association of Legal Writing Directors, and the Washington State Bar Association.
