Introduction

Several commercial online legal research databases provide authorized users with individual IDs and passwords. This guide describes how to access to Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, and Lexis Advance.

How do I access these databases?

Access to Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, and Lexis Advance is restricted to the following:

  • UW Law students, faculty, staff, and librarians
  • UW graduate students enrolled in law librarianship classes
  • UW students who are enrolled in a course that is cross-listed in the School of Law (when the instructor determines that access is necessary)
