TAC Talks 2019: Submit Your Work

An evening celebrating UWT graduate student research: TAC Talks, a series of 5-minute lightning talks, followed by a reception

Interested in giving a TAC Talk or presenting a Poster?

You’ve been working hard on your research papers, your internship, and other projects. Why not present a snapshot of you work to the campus community at the end of spring quarter? It’s fun!
TAC Talks are short, 5-minute snapshot presentations on topics that you, a UW Tacoma graduate student, are passionate about!  You could present on a paper you’ve done research on, an internship you’ve completed, or on your thesis work.
The theme this year is Breaching Boundaries, however you choose to interpret that. These borders might be literal borders or barriers, these can be academic explorations into uncharted territories, these can be transgressions, these can be pushing past the status quo....

We are no longer seeking submissions for 2019. Apply next year!

You will submit a 250 word proposal that informs the reader what you want to present on, and why it is important.
If you need help writing your proposal (a 250-word description of the talk you have planned), contact Margaret Lundberg in the Teaching & Learning Center for assistance:
