This class is sponsored by the UW Center for Human Rights in collaboration with Los Angeles-based immigrant rights organization, El Rescate. This Task Force will create an information management system to strengthen advocates' ability to fight for the rights of Central American refugees, including unaccompanied minors, who are crossing US borders in what's been called a "humanitarian crisis."... El Rescate has asked the UW Center for Human Rights to collaborate in designing a secure "app" or information management system that could help track these cases, where multiple service providers could enter information into a single casefile developed collaboratively as clients migrate.
