The Future of U.S. Foreign Aid

The Trump administration has made its views very public by announcing a 30% cut in funding for the foreign affairs agencies, including the US Agency for International Development. This Task Force will examine US foreign aid from a historical perspective and as seen by the diverse constituencies (Congress, nonprofit community, Department of Defense) that shape and challenge foreign aid today. The Task Force will also look ahead and make recommendations about how US foreign aid needs to adjust to be more effective in the dangerous post-9/11 world today.
