TEST 200: Fundamentals of Environmental Science and Sustainability: Citing sources

Choosing a citation style

Use the style required by your professor. If they do not require a particular style, choose the style you are most comfortable with and stick with it. The most important thing to remember is to cite your source anytime the statement is not common knowledge or your own idea. For more help with citations, make an appointment with the writing center.

What is MLA Style?

MLA citation style was created by the Modern Language Association.  It is most commonly used for citing sources in the Humanities, which includes: Art, Architecture, Literature, History, Philosophy, and etc.
