EMODnet is a network of organizations supported by the EU’s integrated maritime policy. These organizations work together to observe the sea, process the data according to international standards and make that information freely available as interoperable data layers and data products.
ICES is the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea whose members include all coastal states bordering the North Atlantic and the Baltic Sea. ICES maintains some of the world’s largest databases on marine fisheries, oceanography, and the marine environment.
IODE is a program of the International Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO. IODE facilitates the exchange of oceanographic data and information between participating Member States, and by meeting the needs of users for data and information products.
