Collection Guidelines: Information Science: UW Libraries Locations

These are the guidelines by which materials are purchased for the Library and Information Science collection of the UW Libraries (Seattle Campus).

Location of Materials

Suzzallo and Allen Libraries are the major locations for the Information Science collection in print.
Electronic resources may be found using UW Libraries Search or via the Informatics, Information Management, or Library and Information Science Research Guides.
Microform collections are in the Microforms-Newspapers Section.
There are some duplicate and related titles in the Odegaard Undergraduate Library, Bothell and Tacoma libraries.
Specialized encyclopedias, dictionaries, concordances, and bibliographies may be located in the Reference Section in Suzzallo Library.
Materials in the Special Collections Division support course work and research in the librarianship programs.
