A. Collection Development within the UW Library System
The Head of the Art Library (art selector) has primary responsibility for all areas of art books. The Head of the Art Library is also responsible for acquiring books on art for the Odegaard Undergraduate Library and the Allen Library.
The art selector coordinates with various appropriate selectors in the library system in their acquisitions, particularly selectors who collect materials in a non-English language, as they are the primary selectors in those languages.
B. Cooperative Loan Arrangements
The UW is a member of the Orbis-Cascade Alliance. UW faculty, staff and students may request materials from other Orbis-Cascade Alliance members through the UW Libraries Catalog.
