Type your search terms into the box on the left. If you type in "cotton AND history" you will get thousands of results, but the book below is one of the first ones on the list. It is probably a scholarly book since it is published by a university press AND when you look at the record it says "includes bibliographical references and index." A quick Google search tells me that the author, Giorgio Riello, is a professor of global history and culture at the University of Warwick in the U.K
