Please note, Digital Commons will be discontinued in June 2026 as we transition to our tri-campus institutional repository, Research Works. If you have questions or would like to submit your work, please reach out to our institutional repository transition team (see main page). 

Overview of Digital Commons

One of the goals of UW Tacoma Digital Commons is to collect outstanding and unique student work. It currently hosts several different kinds of collections of student work, including:

  • Graduate-level capstone projects
  • Undergraduate theses, capstones, and award-winning student papers
  • Student-created publications
  • Original work, such as oral histories, created by a class

All of our collections were established in partnership with departments or individual faculty. Collection sponsors help us to establish the selection criteria and review process for individual collections.
