Citation Guide

Historians generally use the Chicago style format for footnotes/endnotes and bibliography.  This one page guide provides examples for the most common type of sources.  See the Citations and Writing page for more guides and information.

Introduction to the Collection

The Southeast Asia Collection

Southeast Asia materials are located throughout the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries, and sometimes in branch libraries.

The Southeast Asian Studies librarian is available for Reference assistance most days on a drop-in basis, or by appointment.

COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

The Collection includes materials from all the countries of Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia, Thailand, Viet Nam and the Philippines.

The Southeast Asia Section office is located in Room 131, on the 1st floor of the Suzzallo Library. The office is usually open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., but patrons are advised to call to make an appointment: 543-3986.
