Subject Definition

Business studies involve the intersection of academic theory and professional practice of organizational management. Business studies are defined by traditional disciplines such as accounting, finance, management, and marketing and alongside contemporary areas such as information systems management, international business, operations management, and entrepreneurship.

Subject Classification

Business materials span multiple Library of Congress classes, but the following are predominant:
