This year the United States will conduct the 2020 decennial census. Every ten years the census is conducted and it aims to gain a complete count of the population. This data influences political boundaries, government, federal funds, and overall public life. The resources provided here give insight into U.S. census history, shed light on privacy concerns, address myths and facts, and reveal other ways in which the data is used.
The exhibit is located within the Snoqualmie Building and Tioga Library Building at the University of Washington Tacoma.
