UW eBooks are considered supplemental to course textbooks.  

·  Licenses to eBooks are subject to change therefore continued access to any eBook is not guaranteed.  

·  Numbers of simultaneous users per eBook title vary widely among eBooks.  When you are done viewing an eBook online, actively log out of an eBook if you see that option.  Otherwise, the book will continue to be 'in use' till the timeout period is reached thus possibly delaying another person’s access to the eBook.   Remember, UW licenses online resources for UW faculty, staff, and students including the WWAMI region.

·  Some eBook packages require personal accounts to save portions of text, download, or check out books.

·  “Check out” loan periods vary among books.  We encourage reading online when possible to allow multiple students to access the same book in any given day.
