Hello! I am the Public Health and Research Services Librarian.
Health Sciences Librarians serve the University of Washington health sciences community by sharing information about library collections, services, department-specific resources, procedures for requesting new materials, and by supporting the teaching, clinical, and research needs of the UW health sciences community.
This new interprofessional health sciences library is located on the 3rd floor of the new Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB) at 1607 NE Pacific Street, and is open 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. A Husky card is required to gain access to the building.
Library staff will be available to assist UW students and faculty 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you have questions about accessing resources outside of these hours, give us a call at 206-685-3940 or email lilulibrary@uw.edu.
Work and study spaces within the library are named after Pacific Northwest Trees, including the Red Alder High Top Collaboration Space, Western Hemlock Technology & Learning Center, Ponderosa Pine Study Area, Cedar Lounge, and Douglas Fir Quiet Area. The service point for help with collection access and IT questions is the Research Help and Information Desk.
