The Fisheries selector acquires works on the flora and fauna of marine and freshwater environments and on the ecology and natural history of those environments.

The Forest Resources selector acquires works on the flora and fauna of forested areas, including works on wildlife management, and on the ecology and natural history of the forest environment.

Palaeontology is acquired mainly by the Earth & Space Sciences selector.

The Built Environments selector acquires works on landscape architecture.
