It doesn't matter whether you use citation management software, a hand-written log, or something in-between, just make sure you meticulously organize and track your sources and citations. This will allow you to easily:

• Create your bibliography.
• Find the materials you have referenced.
• Ensure you are not plagiarizing materials.

Using a program called a citation manager will help you by keeping your articles all in one place and is the recommended method for citation management. UW-supported citation managers include:
