Q: Can Library staff create a profile for me on a new platform and migrate my information from an existing SelectedWorks profile?
A: Unfortunately, as these systems are not administered by the Library and profiles will be tied to individual login credentials, we can not undertake the work of migration on your behalf. We are happy to help you select a new platform to meet your needs and troubleshoot issues as we are able!
Q: Is Digital Commons also going away?
A: Digital Commons is still available, and we will still accept submissions to departmental collections! Full-text articles can be posted so long as they meet Open Access guidelines. More information and submission form.
Q: I believe the publications on my SelectedWorks profile page were uploaded to Digital Commons. Will those publications still remain on the Digital Commons platform?
A: Yes, all previously uploaded materials will still be archived and accessible via Digital Commons. If a particular publication hasn't already been uploaded to Digital Commons, or you're not sure, we're happy to help you explore the available options. Contact us at taclibdc@uw.edu.
