Covidence stands for "Collaboration + Evidence"; it is an online platform supporting evidence synthesis projects like systematic and scoping reviews.

The UW's license to Covidence includes:
To request access to join UW's institutional license to Covidence, you must use your current UW email address (@uw.edu).
If you have already joined the UW Health Sciences Library Covidence account, then you can go to Covidence and log in with your email and password and proceed to use Covidence.

Existing reviews, including in-progress projects, will be unchanged by joining UW's institutional license.
Email support@covidence.org to request your review be moved into the UW repository; include your UW email address and the name of the review. You may expect a response within approximately three hours.
A review project using the UW's license may remain with the UW even after the researchers leave the institution. If you would like to move your review to your new institution or to an individual Covidence account, email support@covidence.org to request the change; be sure to include your UW email and the name of the review. This process can take approximately two weeks.
After clicking the link “Create new review” you will have the option to use your personal account license or select the UW Health Sciences Library account.
