How I Can Help You

For students, I can:

  • Meet with you one-on-one to develop strategies and sources for your research projects.
  • Recommend the best databases to search for your research topic
  • Answer your questions via email or in-person
  • Connect you with services available through the UW Libraries and beyond

For faculty, I can:

  • Introduce your students to research tools and strategies via a workshop
  • Create an online research guide tailored to your class assignment
  • Meet with your students individually
  • Discuss ways to best incorporate research skills and library materials into your class assignments
  • Purchase books and other material needed for your research
  • Tell you about library services
  • Act as a liaison communicating the department's concerns and needs to library administration
  • Talk with you about locating and/or authoring Open Educational Resources (including open textbooks) for use in your courses
