Spotlight Learning, located on the first floor of the Tioga Library Building, brings together print materials from different genres and disciplines that focus on specific topics. It also serves as a jumping off point to find additional resources, both physical and digital, related to those topics. Its purpose is to inspire new ideas, connections, and engagement through the creative process of browsing; no keyword searching necessary!
The 2025-2026 Spotlight Learning collections are Experience of Neurodivergence and Prison Education & Abolitionist Approaches. Information about each and a list of e-resources is available via the tabs in the left sidebar.
Each Spotlight Learning collection will rotate at least once annually. We welcome collaborations with UW Tacoma faculty, students, and staff to explore topics of interest to the community. If you have an idea for a Spotlight Learning collection, please reach out to Megan Watson, Head of Collections and Scholarship, megawat at uw dot edu.
