This Class Guide compliments the basic research materials suggested in the Southeast Asian Studies Research Guide.

It can be used in conjunction with Research Tips for Literature Review in SE Asian Studies.

Historians generally use the Chicago style format for footnotes/endnotes and bibliography.  See the Citations and Writing page for more styles, guides and information about citation management tools.

Southeast Asia materials are located throughout the Suzzallo and Allen Libraries, and sometimes in branch libraries.

COLLECTION DESCRIPTION

The Collection includes materials from all the countries of Southeast Asia, with a focus on Indonesia, Thailand, Viet Nam and the Philippines.

The Southeast Asia Section office is located in Room 131, on the 1st floor of the Suzzallo Library. The office is usually open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., but patrons are advised to call to make an appointment: 543-3986.
