Service-learning is a successful teaching method that engages students in meaningful learning experiences within the community. This course provides instruction about the fundamentals of service-learning and one way to incorporate it into teaching and curriculum design. The course is designed specifically for preservice teachers who are studying become teachers in K-12 settings. Developed by a professor at California State University, Chico, this course is available to any college or university s
