To locate materials available online in the UW Libraries Search, filter by "Available Online" or "Open Access."
You can also limit by Resource Type and select "eBooks"
Free eBook Collections
Digital library of books and journals scanned by a partnership of major research institutions and libraries. During the closure of the Libraries due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Emergency Temporary Access Service (ETAS) permits special access for UW faculty, students, and staff to specific digital materials in HathiTrust that correspond to physical books held by UW Libraries. To access these materials, you must log into HathiTrust with the yellow log in button.

A collection of books that supports emergency remote teaching, research activities, independent scholarship, and intellectual stimulation while universities, schools, training centers, and libraries are closed.
If the book is out of copyright, or the publisher has given Google books permission, you'll be able to see a preview of the book, and in some cases the entire text.
