In Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies (GWSS), intersectional and transnational analyses foreground the study of race and ethnicity in U.S. and global contexts. Feminist scholarship analyzes how these social formations intersect with gender, women, and sexuality in specific times and places. Research and teaching within the GWSS community complements and contributes to the related disciplines of Ethnic Studies, Transnational Studies, Women of Color scholarship, and Queer Studies.
