Appears to focus on U.S. issues.
Founded by the Pew Charitable Trusts, the Oak Foundation and other groups, this international organization focuses solely on oceans, working for change by conducting specific, science-based campaigns concerned with ocean pollution, over-fishing, ocean floor destruction, shipping emissions, seismic airgun blasting, offshore drilling, ocean acidification, and climate change effects on the ocean.

Seeks to build the foundation for sustainable economies through clean water. Education and fiscal know-how aer the foundation of sustainable clean water projects. Using locally procured materials and local people for both expertise and labor, Project Humanity continues to work with communities long after the projects are completed.
Water for the World
works to provide clean and safe drinking water and water related supplies to underprivileged people around the world. Water for the World is a plastics-based company approach to helping at a local level to solve water problems, particularly in the areas of sanitation, preservation and sustainability of water resources and practices, and advancing best practices. One of the main sponsors, the Vienna based Borealis Group, specializes in base chemicals, fertilizers, and polyolefins.
Based in the United States, India and Kenya, this organization concerns itself with water related problems as they affect people worldwide. Water related diseases, sanitation issues, and a special focus on women and water are some of the subjects addressed here. Water.org works through partnerships with usually small, on-the-ground organizations which understand and can work effectively at a local level. After very careful screening, Water.org provides funding to groups with proven project successes.
