FAQs

Commonly asked questions from Health Sciences Library users.

I am not affiliated with UW. Do I have access?

Non-UW guests, patients and visitors are welcome to visit the Health Sciences Library and use materials in this library. This includes access to online databases, ejournals and ebooks. Non-UW clients should expect to bring a flash drive to save files, or be prepared with cash to purchase a Dawg Prints Card for printing. Guests cannot email themselves articles: email and MS Office are not on guest computers. Guests with picture ID may request a wifi password which will allow them to access library resources using their own devices while on campus.
